What a bad day

I was pretty excited and hyped when I was queing up for War of the Worlds two days ago. Didn't mind the long wait, really. So, after HOURS (exaggerate je) waiting in the line, I finally got to the counter. When the attendant confirmed about the date and time, I said OK. Didn't feel anything unusual. Wait till you see the movie uhuk uhuk.. Tak kosser giteww

Then.. Yesterday morning, as I looked at the date again, it was 29th June.. Shaitzzzz.. Its my mom's b'day!! I was so sure before that 29th is on Thursday.. I thought wrong.. So now I have rush back home as soon as I'm done with the movie to have dinner.. I'm supposed to suprise her, now I'm the one who's suprised now LOL. The irony!

Let me tell you about War of the Worlds. I was confused as hell when the movie ended. Err, Ok whats the movie all about again? Err.. And by the way, too much drama.. I was dumbstrucked at the end of the movie.. Is that it? hmm.. OK.. The first hour was OK.. Come on Spielberg, are you are becoming Lucas too now? Then part yg Tim Robbins tu was so unnecessary.. rasa nak ketok je.. Definitely a NO GO for me on this one.. sorry

On June 29th, 2005, Earth goes to war. From Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures comes “War of the Worlds,” directed by Steven Spielberg and starring international superstar Tom Cruise. A contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells’s seminal classic, the sci-fi adventure thriller reveals the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it. The film also stars Dakota Fanning, Miranda Otto, Justin Chatwin, and Tim Robbins.
-- A remake rupanye.. well it sucked though

Played bowling yesterday night but it wasn't fun, though its cheap yesterday hehe.. Somethings not right with my hand.. hmmm

Wimbledon is now into the semis.. All top 3 seeds managed to make their way through, both man and woman.. I'm not supporting anyone, all I want is a good game to watch. But I do want a Federer - Roddick and Sharapova - Davenport match.. That'll be awesome, though all players are already great to say the least..

Work progresses

I'm getting bored with work, hehe. Didn't do anything interesting at all, other than reading documents and notes about oilwell production.. but i do feel that if you sit down reading books, the time goes by faster than usual. Its like being in another world, where 1 min = 30 seconds. Suddenly it was lunch already, and then a couple of 'hours' later the time was already 5pm. Went to KLCC, wanting to shop but ended up not buying anything. I reckoned I'm not a good spender. Indeed I am kedekot haha

Last weekend was OK. got to meet a few michigan friends, including alisa, who just came back. hafiz bawak awek siot, lepas tu segan2.. lawak sial.. sume bawak couple, so kiranye aku dengan alisa la haha.. Anyway, after that I went to meet my balik pulau friends to discuss about our next gathering. There were not many, around teen-ish. I'm not so sure about the end result, I wasn't paying attention at all hehe.

Didn't watch AF as I was still out playing bowling, but my mom taped for my sis. Me like Marsha for her gedikness.. lol.. gedik=geli but seronok gak tgk..

I just found an interesting website.. HERE Ex-MRSMBP, batch 95-96.. Was flabbergasted by the content.. Now I know where'd ayun get her recent accent from.. Ayun, are you one of them? Please say yes..

Food and sports

I had the longest meeting ever in my life. The meeting was to discuss on a few matters about our products line that we are currently handling. It was interesting to hear the discussion, though I was only able to understand a little. How nice would it be to be able to concur to their opinions and ideas. However, it’s much better than sitting at your desk reading all day long, not that I really mind, hehe

For me, the highlight of the meeting was during the lunch break, when the food was served. Oh yeah... It was definitely mouth-watering. Yesterday was the same too, during the seminar which I attended. I don’t mind having meetings like this, but on second thought, it might not be a good idea, especially having to sit down from 10-5 listening and struggling to stay awake simultaneously. I still have a lot to learn and understand, which means reading!! Ergh…

What happened to the US Grand Prix in the states? What a farce!! Rubbish!! Lucky for me I didn’t stay up to watch it, otherwise I would have been so disappointed. I’m sorry for you Kirah. Pegi jauh2, tgk 6 kereta je.. takper at least ko dpt tgk schumi menang.. Ko kena datang dengan kitorang je, baru syok, kalau tak camni la jadinye hehe..

Only 6 cars were on the lining grid at the end of the formation lap and the rest went straight to the pit. The scene of this shameful debacle, dare F1 forget, was the most ligitous nation on the planet. The FIA are expected to charge the French tyre manufacturers, whose admission that their rubber was unsafe to use at Indy precipitated Sunday's shambles, with bringing the sport into disrepute this week… LOL..

Anyway, during the podium presentation, both Ferrari drivers didn’t celebrate, only Tiago Monteiro, who was so excited being on the podium for the first time did the wine celebration. Quite hilarious to see him jumping around spurting wines to basically no one.. haha

Go Pistons!... You are proving that you are unquestionably the greatest team in the world. Teamwork baby!!. And great defense wins the game.. we don’t need Ginobili or Duncan..

Finally, Wimbledon is back.. Watching tennis on grass has never been so fun, I'll never get bored with it. Can wait for the final, I wonder who would it be. Me like Sharapova and Federer. Let’s hope they can retain their crown. Apu, jom maen tennis HAHA.. lalala

Working is ..

First week of work was quite intense, was already given an assignment and it was supposedly due yesterday. when i wanted to submit and discuss with him, he said that he would only be able to next monday. chet.. buat penat je aku buat.. kalau tau, takyah nak stay up..

was so looking forward for weekend now, at least i can wake up at noon, and hangout with friends. got to hangout with the hillarious izan.. ur story can be so unpredictable and unexpected, yet hillarious.. engkau practice jadi pelawak eh.. ho ho ho..

my dad just asked me, "Hakam, why are you at home tonight?". I was speechless, eh nih perli ke apa nih.. He had the serious look on his face, but the tone wasn't though. Well, my dad is a cool guy now.. haha.. not as strict as before.. Err... hopefully.. Tonight, I want to watch AF.. AFUNDI AFUNDI AFUNDI LOL..

I can't use umich as host anymore.. I was still able to go yesterday, but not this morning.. so i guess i have to change to blogspot now.. lalala

First day at work..

Today was my first day at work.. Hmmm, what can I say? new people, new laptop, new table, new coffee, new environment, new life.. It was quite interesting I would say, like when I was introduced to the staffs throughout the whole company. God, there are so many names and people to remember.. Most of the big guns are foreigners, from Europe I think, including my boss.. He's a cool dude though, fond of laughing..

First assignment was already given to me, and it needs to be completed by the end of the week! Yey, this is so much 'fun'.. Haven't felt the adrenaline rush for quite a while LOL.. Panicking beb.. I have stacks of documents to read, including a 700-page manual. Yeehawww.. This is how me do it bebeh..

After lunch, I was brought to the KL Convention Center for OGA2005 ::WEBSITE::. Those who are interested in joining the oil n gas industry, tapi still takot2 or tgh contemplate(like me hehe), do attend this exhibition.. You'll see how huge the industry is, almost 800 MNC's participated this year.. ABB, Alstom, CPTDC, ExxonMobil, Germanischer Lloyd, Halliburton, Man Turbomaschinen, Nacap, Offshore-CPI, Proclad, PSA Marine, Rockwell, Sapura Energy, Schlumberger, Shell, Technip, you name it they have it.

They used up all 5 halls at the convention center to accommodate the booths.. Got freebies too ya'll.. I think that it is still a promising and vast industry to be involved with, Just look the visitors and exhibitors man.. and chicks too LOL

Can't wait for my 2nd day.. lalala

Mr Smith

I watched Mr & Mrs Smith, and I really thought it is a cool movie to watch. The storyline was good, the scripts were excellent, with great camera angles and shots. It was packed with actions, comedy, fighting scenes and the director successfully blended everything very very smoothly and effectively. Even the soundtracks suited the story well.. I was literally laughing throughout the entire movie, both Brad and Angelina looked awesome as a married couple. Vincent was unquestionably hilarious. The fact that he still stays with his mother but works with an assassin is unacceptable and solely funny. It would be interesting to have that kind of life lol. Point of this story: dont believe in everything you see and hear, even when you thought you may have known everything about someone. You think you know, but you have no idea.. hehehe.. I recommend this movie!!

Tomorrow will be my 1st day at work. That means Ill have to wake up early in the morning, and this means 5 times a week! This is gonna be 'fun'!.. Can't wait and see how my life turns out after this. I guess I wont be attending the Shell interview in Miri anyway. Well, I can be like Apu and ask for a leave haha.

Currently, I'm waiting for the F1 race to be aired on tv in half an hour. Hope that I wont have any duties tomorrow as I will be very sleepy at office tomorrow. Lalala. If I was still in the states, I would have definitely gone to montreal again. The place is beautiful, so does the crowd. oh man.. I miss my life there so much.. sobsss

Lame day..

Hari nih sungguh bosan.. The whole day I spent lying down on the bed.. bangon tido bangon tido.. gile malas nak buat apa2.. Well anyway, I did my medical checkup for the second time hehe.. It costed me about 300 bucks!! Goddamit.. Sume dia nak check, even for cancer.. Ade satu test nih, dia letak mcm pengepit kat kaki n tangan kau.. before dat, dia ade sapu some kind of gooey stuff, i think its the same kind that you use to check the baby in the stomach hehe.. its kinda interesting.. thats the highlight of my day.. yey..

I'm thinking of watching a movie tonight, hmm.. what would it be? Whats interesting on Wednesday night? I need to buy a car.. local or foreign? Have u guys seen the newly launched cars both from Perodua n Proton? They kinda looked the same! Buttless cars..
Proton Savvy was launched today, originally they wanted to name it Sassy.. LOL.. Sounds sissy. Its actually an upgrade of Tiara.. Anyway, first batch cars are always not advisable to buy.. Hmmmm.. It seemed that I need to consider other options then.. la la la

Decisions decisions..

At the moment, I decided to work at weatherford. Err, I think there's where I'm heading, hehe. I really thought Nestle was THE choice for me, after getting opinions from 'professionals' and guidance from Above, but then something else happened. As I was walking out quickly from the weatherford office (I wanted to return the employment form as I'm declining the offer), then the hr manager shouted my name. She told me that The Boss wanted to see me.. Goddamn, dalam hati mati la aku kena saon, dulu masa interview cakap sanggup itu ini sekali tu nak rejek plak..

But the opposite happened. He talked to me nicely and gave his opinion and suggestions, basically he persuaded me to come and work there. I was dumbstrucked and didn't think that this would happen. He then gave me back the form for me to think again hehe.. Actually I was already given a week to think about the offer, and was supposed to start working yesterday.. So now, I hope this is the one, LOL. Still, I'm going to a few interviews here n there.. haha, carik nahas sungguh.. seronok plak pegi interview.. Can I make it as a profession?

I even have a buddy already to commute everyday soon.. smoking included yah..

Blerghhhhhh..

Im feeling bored right now, not sure what to do. I feel like going out, but that may not be a very good idea. these past few days, i was busy rearranging things in my room. Kinda wanted to do it long ago but was too lazy. Now that i have lots of free time, apa lagi.. So apu, if you come again you'll be amazed how different it'll be. takde la, exaggerate je..

Ive decided to work at Nestle and rejected the others. Too lazy to accept anymore interviews, buang duit je ke sini sana. Might as well sit at home and enjoy the free time while I still can.

Alot of people balik kampung this weekend. Does it have to do with the Agung's bday? or is it just coincidence? well, that means my weekend plan has to be cancelled then. haiya..

i went and saw house of wax!! paris sucks.. luckily she died, but elisha is hawtttt.. rawrr, n who's dat guy being her brother? ive seen him before.. hmmm
