Trip trip trip
India is a unique to say the least. I had the chance to snap a few pictures while I was there for a week. I went to two places: Mumbai and Jodhpur. Mumbai: City packed with people, similar climate; Jodhpur: Village with few people, windy desert.
Well, I apologize if the pictures are too tiny. I'm too lazy to publish it one by one, so I just used Hello + Picasa.. Easy job hehe. There's nothing peculiar, interesting, extravagant, or out of the ordinary, but the first thing that caught my attention when I arrived was the rickshaw. They're everywhere in Mumbai, and very cheap to compared to the taxis elsewhere. Nevertheless, I did enjoy my stay there, but if the company were to send me again, I would rather say thanks,I really appreciate the offer but no thanks. I heard that India got hit by a flood, killing hundreds of people and leaving millions of others homeless. Hmmm.. I pity them
Next destination: Aberdeen
Duration of stay: 5 weeks
Yang nak balik Malaysia next month, jgn lupa aku kalau nak hangout ok
Clock is ticking...
Less than 24 hours remaining before I head to India. Will be boarding the plane at 2010, so I have to be there at least 2 ½ hours before that. Yet, I will still need to go to the office for half a day. Haven’t really packed my stuffs yet. Will be staying for a night in Mumbai before heading to the rig in Rajasthan. I heard it’s in close proximity to the Indian border (not sure with what country though), has a stunning landscape with remains from great empires. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. And hey, they do have winter seasons here. But still.. errr.. thats ok.. Ill keep it to myself.. (Indian + Banghra songs looping in my head)
I’m having mixed feeling, but I think it’s normal. Will be back after one week. Then, off I go to Aberdeen for my training plak for about 7 weeks. So guys.. Wait for me yah! I’m sure most of you are already back in Malaysia by that time. Nak belanja tu, hmm kena fikir kejap hahaha.. Korang la tong tong belanja.. Aku dulu masa baru balik pon kena belanja, so korang pon samalah hehehe.. Acah je
To ayun.. don’t be so depressed.. Come to papa.. hehe..
Btw, I'm reading Harry Potter 6.. Lalala. Nak tau tak ending dia.. Highlight below to read ok
BACA LA SENDIRI HAIYA
Man oh man
I have so many things to do, so many things to ask, not enough people to ask around, not knowing what exactly to do, not knowing how to react. Reality hit me. Everyone seems busy with their own assignments. I’m feeling confused and incompetent. Thank god I didn’t jump straight into management, otherwise ill fail miserably. I guess it takes time, and one thing for sure, you need to have a lot of connections. Itll make ur life easier, much easier.
Life’s about having your own network; it’s a necessity in reality. I don’t think you can survive on your own. Even after you die, you still need someone to bury you. See how important that is. Man oh man..
Got a new iPod. Sorry la jakun siket.. Thanks darling.. I owe you one
And by the way, have you seen the new Satria Replacement Model? Looks better than Savvy hehe
Got Sari?
It turns out that I won’t be going to India anyway, not for this week at least. Fewwh. Feel quite relieved now, I wasn’t really looking forward to it actually. So, no sari for anyone LOL.
Last week, I had my safety offshore training. The course was done somewhere in Ulu Klang and it basically covered fire fighting, sea survival, boat transfer, helicopter rescue, etc. The best part was helicopter rescue, no doubt about that.
They basically strap you in a compartment and submerge underwater with you in it. Then what you have to do after that is to wait for about 10 seconds, unbuckle your belt and come out through the window/door exit. Not only that, they even capsize the compartment to make it more challenging. Memang pening kejap.. Air mmg masok hidong tak ingat nye. Can’t avoid that. Luckily, I didn’t panic so everything went well for me. A few guys had to repeat because they exited from the rear end, which you are not supposed to. I’m looking forward to repeat the training, in 3 years time haha.
Weekend was OK. Loved the weekend. Went to Alexis and listened to jazz, Featuring the lush vocals of Rachel Guerzo coupled with jazz quartet GruvAvenue. Lush konon.. Not really, didn’t like her voice though.. Even Elly can sing better.. But the band performance was good though. Well its merely fusion.. Nih sebab slalu dengar music schoolnye students perform kat Pierpont la.. Rindu siot
Ella is coming home today, will be reaching KLIA at noon. Lalala.
Public transportations
I reached office at 5 past 8 today. Normally, I would have reached by quarter before 8 but due to the lrt problem today, the journey was a little longer than usual. Some sort of malfunction occurred to the lrt, thus it had to be driven manually from kl sentral to masjid jamek. I’m not sure what they meant by that because I don’t see any steering wheel in the lrt. Probably there was someone pushing it from the rear end. I wanted to check and see but I couldn’t. It was going slow all the way.
Peculiarly there was an unusually massive amount of people at each station today, even from the station where I was, i.e. tmn paramount. By the time reaching the universiti station, the lrt was literally soo packed, I was squashed and grasped accidentally by mostly gorgeous and striking ladies who were around me.. Chewahh.. Tipu sangat la tuh.. Some people may like it, I actually don’t seem to be fond of it. Trust me, I will not do anything like that AT ALL.. Didn’t even cross my mind.. If it did, it was probably at a speed of light.. LOL..
Even on the federal highway, the cars were already bumper to bumper.. Something’s wrong today. Can the population proliferate dramatically within a day?
I’ve been an ardent user of public transportations for ages. I used to take buses to school for 3 years before I went to BP. Even after that, I still took buses. Before lrt, before I got my license, buses would only be the only means of transportation for me. So squeezing and squashing was a part of my daily activities. Its no fun at all.. And now, it’s happening all over again. Even if I take the lrt before 7 am, I still have to stand up all the way to KLCC for nearly ½ an hour. Same goes after work, even after 7 pm. Uhuh, I will be at the office almost half a day everyday.
I’m not complaining, only the journey is quite a hassle. I love my job so far. Hehe.. like the place, the people, the environment, etc. I need to buy a car soon.. This way I can go wherever I want. La la la
Oh! And by the way, I love watching sports on weekends.. Tennis, F1, rugby??.. They make me feel happy and keep me occupied, even when some of the results were not as I wanted them to be. Lalala
So many things in my head right now, but I can’t pop it out.. Everything is jammed in there.. Got to watch a movie this weekend.. Which one will it be? Currently listening to Coldplay, Oasis and Audioslave.. Rasa high je haha
Im neutral lalala
